1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of the compresshive website and its tools (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

compresshive provides free tools to compress, resize and convert images. The processing happens in your browser on your own device. We may add, change or remove features, or suspend the Service, at any time and without notice.

3. Your images

You keep all rights to the images you process. Because your files are never uploaded to us, we don't receive, store or claim any rights to them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and modify the images you process.

Processing changes your images and some quality may be lost. Always keep a copy of your original files.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to process content you have no right to use;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading it with automated requests;
• copy the website, its design or branding to offer a competing service, or present it as your own.

5. Advertising

The Service is supported by ads, including ads served by third parties such as Google. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites they link to.

6. Our content

The compresshive name, logo, website design and text are owned by compresshive and may not be used without our permission. Third-party libraries used by the Service remain subject to their own licences.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will meet your needs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, compresshive will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, images, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. As the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero, to the extent the law allows.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Links to other websites

The Service may link to websites we don't control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
